Filipino mobile users will soon have a new device to experience ultrafast Smart 5G and unfold infinite possibilities as mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. is opening pre-order for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G until Sept. 24.

A certified Smart 5G device, the new Galaxy Fold2 will be available with Smart Signature, which recently introduced Korean superstar Son Ye Jin as its endorser in a bid to simplify the postpaid experience with a prioritized, worry-free, and elevated lifestyle for customers.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 is best experienced with Smart Signature Device Plan L, which comes with monthly 15GB of data, Unli On-Net calls, 100 Min AnyNet calls, and Unli AnyNet texts.

On Smart Signature Plan L, the Galaxy Z Fold2 is available for P4,099 per month, with a one-time cash-out of P20,700. New and renewing subscribers can order the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 at smart.com.ph/postpaid/galaxyzfold2 and Smart Stores nationwide.

As a special perk, subscribers with approved pre-orders will also get freebies worth P52,198. These include:

  • FREE 1-year Samsung Care+ (Automatic enrollment upon device activation)
  • FREE P2,000 Samsung Online Store Voucher (can only be used to purchase a Galaxy Z Fold2 Genuine Leather Cover)
  • FREE Samsung 55” Crystal UHD TV (2020)

Change the Shape of the Future

Officially unveiled globally last Sept. 1, the Galaxy Z Fold2 improves upon the innovation trailblazed by last year’s Galaxy Z Fold device by pairing a stunning and bold design with refined engineering.

The Galaxy Z Fold2's pride is its industry-leading 7.6-inch main folding screen, bigger than the original Galaxy Z Fold’s screen by 12 percent. This main folding screen is paired with a full-viewing 6.2-inch Infinity-O Cover Screen, which features maximum usability so users can check email, navigate, or even watch videos without needing to unfold the device.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 also provides a unique camera experience with Flex mode, which allows users to unfold the screen at various angles and use one side of the smartphone as a stand. This way, users can capture photos and videos hands-free.

The groundbreaking device also enables seamless multitasking with its advanced Multi-Active Window, which enables users to control the screen layout with more ease and flexibility. Through this, users can conveniently open multiple files from the same app at the same time and view them side by side.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 also comes with a 4,500 mAh All Day Battery and Super Fast Charging so users can achieve more throughout the day.

The fastest got faster with Smart 5G

By including the Galaxy Z Fold2 in its growing portfolio of Smart 5G-certified devices, Smart makes good on its promise to make it simple and easy for Filipinos to experience the latest mobile innovations and cutting-edge technology.

Smart Signature subscribers can make the most of the Galaxy Z Fold2 with Smart LTE, the country’s fastest mobile data network, according to international third-party mobile analytics firms, including Ookla and Opensignal.

But for significantly faster mobile data speeds, subscribers can tap into the ultrafast Smart 5G, which enables users to upload and download digital content in a flash, stream and binge-watch videos in the highest resolution seamlessly, and play high-bandwidth mobile games without lag or interruption.

Smart 5G coverage in key business districts

In this initial phase of Smart 5G commercial deployment, Smart Signature, Infinity, and other Smart postpaid subscribers can enjoy the superfast data service of Smart 5G in key business districts of Metro Manila using Smart-certified handsets with 5G-activated SIMs – at no extra cost.

These Smart 5G areas include the Makati Central Business District (CBD), Bonifacio Global City CBD, Araneta City, SM Megamall, and Mall of Asia Bay Area.  Smart 5G is also being rolled out in key high-traffic areas such North Avenue in Quezon City and Taft Avenue in Manila, as well as in Ortigas CBD, and Clark Green City in Pampanga.

Subscribers can also experience Smart 5G with the 5G-ready handsets featured at select Smart Stores in Metro Manila, including Smart Tower in Makati City, Gateway Mall, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, and The World Plaza in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Experience Smart 5G now with the Galaxy Z Fold2 by ordering at Smart Stores nationwide and via the Smart Online Store. To learn more about Smart 5G, visit 5g.smart.
