Wish 107.5 pays homage to the best and finest performances in the Philippine music industry on its first ever Wish 107.5 Music Awards: The Coolest Musical Experience on Jan.26, 7:30 p.m. at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
The awards has 19 categories and winners will be determined via online poll vis-à-vis a set of judges from different fields of expertise and profession.
Among the nominees are Darren Espanto. He has bagged six major nominations, which include Best Wish Cover for “In Love Ako Sa ‘Yo”, Best Wishclusive Performance by a Young Artist for his rendition of “Chandelier”, Wish Ballad Song of the Year for “I Believe In Me” and “Stuck”, Wish Original Song of the Year for “Stuck” and Wish Young Artist of the Year.
Jed Madela is nominated as Best Wishclusive Performance for Male artist for the song “You Mean The World To Me” and Wish Male Artist of the Year.
Morisette on the other hand is nominated for Best Wishclusive Performance for Female Artist for the song “Di Mapaliwanag”, Wish Original Song of the Year for “Di Mapaliwanag” and Wish Female Artist of the Year.
Sassa Dagdag (from The Voice Kids Season 2 Top 4) is nominated for Best Wishclusive Performance for YoungArtist for the song “If I Were A Boy” and Wish Young Artist of the Year among others.
Wish Promising Artist nominees are 5th Gen, Gwenyth Dorado, Jensen & The Flips, Lunar Lights, Shanne Velasco and The Voysing.
Some of these artists are expected to perform for the wishers on the awards night.
The station proactively supports Filipino talents by serving as an avenue for local performers to launch their music via the Wish 107.5 Bus, the first FM-on-wheels in the country that is fully equipped with advanced broadcast facilities that could provide ticketless live road concerts and performances.
The Wish 107.5 Bus will be visiting different universities, starting with Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Sta. Mesa yesterdat to gather votes from Wishers and fans.

Issued daily mission briefings by Bear, they will have to navigate treacherous obstacles and journey through dangerous dense jungles, testing their ability to adapt, improvise and overcome in one of the world’s most hostile environments. Joining Bear are actors Emilia Fox and Laurence Fox, singer and actor Max George, double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, TV presenter and singer Jamelia, comedy actor Tom Rosenthal; DJ, model and presenter Vogue Williams and former England International rugby player Mike Tindall.
Testing the celebrities at every turn on the fundamental principles of survival: shelter, water, fire and food, the celebrities have to abseil down ferocious waterfalls, cross perilous rapids, trudge through swamps and negotiate razor-sharp vines, not to mention contending with scorpions, snakes and sand flies.
The winner will have to show a resilience and ability to endure hardships unlike anything they’ve experienced before. At the end of every episode Bear will eliminate one person. And at the end of the series, there will be three finalists and ultimately just one Mission Survivor.
