Asked about the hot rumor that Maris Racal and seasoned singer Rico Blanco are playing beautiful music together, Iñigo Pascual has nothing but good words to say.
“If ever it’s true, let’s be happy for them. The rumor has already reached me and I can’t say anything about it since no confirmation came from them yet,” Iñigo said about the rumor linking his former flame to the OPM rock star.
It’s public knowledge that he and Maris were a love team before and were romantically linked. During those times, Iñigo remembers that Maris already idolizes Rico.
“When Maris and I were still a love team, I knew that she admired Rico so much. She even requested me to sing Rico’s classic ditties then. So as I’ve said, if ever they are really an item, I’ll be happy for them. When they had a musical collaboration two years ago via the song ‘Abot Langit’, I even congratulated Maris. I was happy for her because she was able to work and had the chance to know her idol better through that project.”
For Iñigo, he just wants to be supportive of the two even if they haven’t made any confirmation yet.
“I wish them all the best if ever they are really together. Love is love. It’s a beautiful thing.”
Maris and Iñigo started as a love team in ABS-CBN. They’ve worked together on numerous projects including the potboilers I’m Ellenya L and Boyette: Not a Girl Yet.

In her recent guesting in the top-rating Sunday night variety gabfest “The Boobay and Tekla Show (TBATS)”, Andrea Torres was asked how happy she is right now.
“In a scale of 1-10, I would say that the happiness I feel at present is 8.5!” she averred, although she didn’t elaborate why.
The flow of the interview had something to do with emotional heartbreak and moving on, something which mirrors the alluring star’s present state after her break-up with boyfriend Derek Ramsey. It can be remembered that their relationship lasted for almost two years. They met on the set of the hit GMA prime time program “The Better Woman” but on the last quarter of 2020, they parted ways without telling the real reason behind it.
When asked what tips she can give on how to move on from a failed relationship, Andrea said:
“First is focus on your own self. Learn how to do things that make you happy. Engage in new activities which you haven’t ventured into before. In short, discover yourself more.”
Interestingly, is she prepared to love once again?
“To be honest, I’m not yet ready to jump into a new relationship at this point. I want to give myself more ‘alone’ time. So that when the next love of my life comes, I will be all-out again!”
Andrea’s next grand prime time offering is “The Legal Wives” in which she shares the frame with Dennis Trillo, Alice Dixson and Bianca Umali.
