Michael V has been in showbiz for over 28 years and considers GMA his home.

“This will be my home until the end of my career,” he affirmed when he renewed his contract with GMA Network last week.

GMA’s top executives were present at the signing, including Attorney Felipe L. Gozon, Gilberto Duavit, Jr., Felipe S. Yalong, and Lilybeth G. Rasonable.

When asked about returning to a noontime show, Michael V. said it wasn’t the right time. He previously left Eat Bulaga! for a reason, and that reason remains why he doesn’t want to host a noontime program now.

“I left Eat Bulaga! before. There’s a reason for that and I think, it’s the same reason I have now why I still don’t want to engage in hosting a noontime program,” he said.

For the record, the ace comedian became the host of Eat Bulaga! when it was still with GMA from 2004 until 2016. What was the reason why he came to such a decision?

“There came a point in my life then when I had to do other equally important things. So, first, I reported on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Until it became Friday and Saturday. Eventually, it was only on Saturday that I was able to report,” Bitoy recounted.

“I felt ashamed of that. I could only give them a little of my time. I didn’t want to work that way. Besides, it was the height of the popularity of AlDub so, I decided to leave. I think that was the perfect time to resign from the show and do something else,” he went on.

Bitoy disclosed that despite this, he still received an offer to go back as host of Eat Bulaga!.

“From time to time, they still call me to host. It’s just that there’s a conflict in the schedule. But I assure everyone that my communication line with the show is always open,” he ended.

Actor Joshua Garcia revealed in a recent interview that he prioritizes investments and self-care with his earnings from showbiz.

Garcia, known for his role in the recently concluded Un-break My Heart, shared that his income has gone towards various investments over the years.

“I bought a three-level townhouse for my family. That was my first project some years back and I’m happy I was able to do it. Now, my dream is to become a franchisee of a popular burger chain in my native Batangas. Hope it will happen soon,” he shared.

Garcia’s financial responsibility stems from his role as the breadwinner in his family.

This year, however, the actor is making self-care a priority. He incorporates workouts, exercises, and “self-pampering” into his routine, even mentioning the benefits of a healthy sleep schedule for his skin.

Fans can also look forward to seeing Garcia back on screen soon. He’s confirmed for a new soap opera and a reunion project with actress Julia Barretto.
