Actor Ken Chan has cleared the cobwebs and said that Rita Daniela was not the subject of cryptic tweets he posted a month ago alluding to someone who was trying to put him down.

“Definitely, it’s not Rita!” he says. “On the contrary, we’re very okay even if we don’t get to see each other that often at this point.”

The actor doesn’t want to give away the identity of the person he’s referring to.

“There are really people who will try to put you down. It happens not only here in showbiz. It can happen in any field. Many people feast on other’s downfall. All of us will undergo such experience.”

Actor Ken Chan still considers Rita Daniela as a friend despite allegations that his cryptic tweets are referring to her

“In cases such as this, I always remember what my folks told me. According to them, those who are being put down will be elevated. God will lift them up. That motivates me to keep on going!”

Despite what happened, Ken still considers the person involved a friend.

“I’m the type who doesn’t harbor any ill feeling towards someone who has done me wrong. I’m blessed and thankful that I’m like that. I easily forgive. My doors are still open for friendship!”

How about Rita? Is he still keen on doing projects with her in the future?

“I’m looking forward to working with her again soon. But Rita and I believe that eventually, we have to go solo. As Sparkle explained to us, the love team phase is temporary.

“Especially if you’ll think that our screen partnership was just accidental. We’re just so blessed that people supported our tandem in ‘My Special Tatay.’ So, yes, I’m still open to working with Rita. I’m not just certain if it’s going to be this year or next year.

“We both believe that it’s better if we would be paired with other stars also. It would be beneficial for us. It’s healthier if we get to work with fellow actors. We’ll both experience growth in our craft!”

Meanwhile, Ken lists Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, Glaiza de Castro, Julie Ann San Jose, and Gabbi Garcia as some of the people whom he would want to work with in his showbiz project.
