In this respect, the chosen ones of the recently concluded first Asia’s Golden Icons Award 2022, the entertainment category most especially – Wilma Galvante (Most Influential Showbiz Personality of the Year), Senator Robin Padilla (Asia’s Most Iconic Showbiz Personality of the Year), Ara Mina (Asia’s Most Exceptional Actress of the Decade), Pia Guanio (Best Entertainment Anchor of the Year), popular celebrity sisters Toni Gonzaga (Most Influential and Inspiring Talk Show Host of the Year) and Alex Gonzaga (Asia’s Most Iconic Content Creator of the Year), plus Gladys Reyes (Most Iconic Actress and Inspiring TV Host of the Year), Mariel Rodriguez (Asia’s Most Empowered Actress and Vlogger of the Year), Ana Jalandoni (Most Empowered Celebrity of the Year), the mother and son tandem of Teresa Loyzaga (Most Admired Actress of Philippine Cinema) and Diego Loyzaga (Most Versatile Actor of the Millennium – all of them, fit the definition to the letter.
President of Asia’s Golden Icons Award Dr. Ronnel P. Ybañez, a multi-awarded businessman, who received prestigious awards like Empowered Man of Excellence in Real Estate Business in Viral Awards 2022 and Multi Awarded Real Estate Broker of the Year in the 5th Luminaire Awards last March explains that their our mission is to give recognition and appreciation to those outstanding individuals and business entities that have a significant impact, achievements, and contributions to our society.
“We hope by identifying and naming them as golden icons, their expertise and legacies will not only be appreciated but will serve as inspiration to all. You know, we must not only read about icons, we must see them, hear about them, and learn from what they have achieved. Their successes did not happen overnight. They materialized because of hard work, discipline, dedication, and love for what their respective professions became vocations for them,” Dr. Ybañez said.
“I didn’t expect it, nung nalaman ko po yun. Sabi ko wow, nung natanggap ko yung award. Parang ang dami kong natulungan hindi lang babae pati lalaki,” said actress and model Ana Jalandoni.
“I am grateful to the men and women behind the Asia’s Golden Icons Award for the recognition. I am relatively new in the acting field so this recognition gives me that you know, that drive to continue to do good in my new field, and be a fine example sa mga aspiring artist. My thanks to Director Perry and Doc. Rommel for making me an honoree,” Kirst Viray, who recently became part of Sparkle Artist Management, shared.
The awards night held at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila was star-studded. Dr.Ybanez was most grateful to the celebrities who graced the event.
