Fresh from winning as Mrs. Universe Philippines First Queen 2021, Joanna Marie Razon was crowned Mrs. ModelMom ‘The Advocacy Queen’ Universe 2022 during the Philippine Faces of Success Awards Night held at Teatrino Greenhills recently. Razon succeeded Jane Camus Knof who is based in Florida, USA.
Razon, a 37-year-old single mother of two lovely daughters, is an entrepreneur, model, events host, motivational speaker and chef. She is a graduate of mass communication (major in broadcasting), and also took up culinary arts due to her love for cooking.
Raised by a mother who worked as domestic helper and a father who was a taxi driver, Razon proved that growing up in poverty is not a hindrance to success. Hardworking and driven, she is now the owner of eCommerce J-Bellamore that promotes beauty and health and caters to local and international market.
Appointed one of the Generals of Team Advocate Change Club, which aims to transform ordinary Filipinos into becoming a successful social entrepreneur by awakening their potential for leadership, Razon has been advocating on promotion of social entrepreneurship since 2011. She is an active member of the MAHARLIKA Filipino Movement which helps address issues facing Filipinos who want to pursue entrepreneurship.
The Advocacy Queen hopes to create new businesses because she believes that when the number of new goods and services increases in the market, more employment opportunities are created and in turn, the economy benefits from this chain.
“A relevant and dynamic community of social entrepreneurship advocates change in every person’s life by leading and empowering them in their journey toward achieving their dreams and conquering their limitations. Entrepreneurship is a source of inspiration for many people and through innovation and dedication, an entrepreneur encourages others to be just like them thus creating a healthy and ideal community,” Razon said.
“A small piece of a new idea is more powerful than anything in the eyes and minds of an entrepreneur,” she added.
