As the organization’s official broadcast partner, GMA Network will be hosting the event’s much-awaited first national broadcast.
Last week, the 28 candidates represented their hometowns through the national costume competition. Viewers also witnessed their wit and intelligence during the preliminary interview.
They also strutted down the runway of Clark International Airport wearing their glamorous evening gowns and stunning swimsuits.
Relive the crowning moment of the first openly gay local pageant winner Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City as she impresses the judges and pageant fans in her bid to represent the country in the popular Miss Universe pageant happening in Israel later this year.
During the pageant, Gomez won major awards including Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown. As this year’s winner, she also becomes the official ambassador of the pageant’s major sponsor, PLDT Home.
