Model-athlete joins Misters of Filipinas pageant

Kenneth L. Aniban is definitely on a mission this year. Truth to behold, this handsome young man has been very diligent in his pageant activities.

Model and athlete Kenneth Aniban guns for one of the titles at stake in Misters of Filipinas male pageant.

Born on Nov. 19, 2000 in Doha, Qatar, the 5-foot-10 head-turner is currently studying International Travel and Tourism Management Program at Lyceum of the Philippine University. His hobbies include weight training, basketball, and watching movies.

Asked on how he handles his career and studying he said it’s about finding the perfect balance and learning time management.

“Having a career is very hectic and having schoolwork as well can take hours to finish, but one thing you need to have is dedication. Dedication to finish the things that you put out and accomplish to the best of your abilities the things you have planned,” said the part-time model from Tondo, Manila.

As a cager, 20-year-old Kenneth lists Stephen Curry, Trae Young, Ja Morant, and Chris Paul as his NBA idols while in the PBA, he looks up to Jimmy Alapag, Jayson Castro, Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, and John Paul Calvo.

Kenken, as he is fondly called by his friends, will represent Tondo, Manila in this year’s Misters of Filipinas pageant happening on Sept. 12.

“I want to spread good vibes and promote my city as a local tourist destination. I also wanted to tackle mental health awareness as my advocacy,” he said.

Kenneth is confident that he can win one of the titles at stake in the Misters of Filipinas pageant.

“Other than the physical attributes that a winner has that I already possess, a titleholder should have the advocacies that could make a long-lasting impact. He should have the confidence to speak up and be a leader. Lastly, a winner should be able to inspire people especially the youth,” he stated.

Kenneth considers joining the Misters of Filipinas as one of his best experiences this year for the very reason that the pageant has taught him to be strong and just overall mature man.
