Ashley Ortega is still processing her recent eviction from “Pinoy Big Brother,” describing her three-week stay inside the house a “life-changing.”
In an interview with “24 Oras,” Ashley admitted she was initially surprised and saddened by her departure.
“Right now, everything still hasn’t sunk in, but of course I was surprised and a bit sad. But at the end of the day, I have to accept that this is a game. Whatever happened inside the house, I’m going to cherish it all,” said Ashley.
The actress was evicted from the PBB house on March 29 alongside fellow housemate AC Bonifacio.
Ashley also shared that her time in the house gave her a rare chance to be vulnerable in front of the public.
“In all my years in the industry, it was really the first time I allowed myself to be that vulnerable in front of so many people. I feel like I’m a changed person,” Ashley added.
“It was so life-changing to the point that even now, I still feel a bit out of it. I’m also scared to find out what’s been happening in the outside world. But of course, I’m grateful,” she continued.
She also thanked the show’s loyal viewers and her fans for their support.
“I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you, and I hope you continue to support PBB. My housemates in there–they’re all brave, they’re all kind. I realized that they’re all different, but the bond we formed inside was really strong,” said Ashley.
