After taking a step back from the entertainment industry to focus on her studies, young actress Rhed Bustamante is making a confident return, this time as the newest brand endorser for Dear Face Beauty Milk. The former Flordeliza child star was introduced as the new face of the beauty and wellness brand during a media conference on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Rhed, known for her powerful performances as a child star, expressed her gratitude for the opportunities coming her way once again.
“It feels great because I didn’t expect any of this, and I’m just really grateful to have had this opportunity,” Rhed shared during an interview with the press.
Currently balancing her senior high school studies with her showbiz projects, Rhed admitted that it’s no easy feat.

“I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been having a bit of a hard time lately. But with the love of my friends and family and their support, I’m managing to get by,” she said.
Now a graduating STEM student, Rhed has her sights set on a future in filmmaking.
“I also want to continue my career this way, but you know, I’m the one behind the camera,” she added, sharing that her dream is to become a director someday and hopes to make meaningful films in the future.
When asked if she ever feels overwhelmed by juggling her studies and work, she responded, “Not really, because I love doing this, so I don’t get tired.”
Rhed also revealed that she is also set to star in an upcoming television series portraying the young version of actress Ryza Cenon. Though details about the project remain under wraps, she is excited to be back on set.
“It feels great to be filming again,” she said. “I didn’t expect any of this, and I’m just grateful.”

Once a young star hoping for more projects, the young actress now finds herself back in demand.
“Before, I used to wish for new roles. Now, I’m receiving back-to-back opportunities, and I couldn’t be more thankful,” stated Rhed.
Early this year, Rhed became the talk of the town when it was revealed that she was playing the role of sexy actress Pepsi Paloma in the controversial film, The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma, which was directed by Darryl Yap.
As for how she handles negativity, Rhed shared an important piece of advice she once received.
“Someone advised me one time that, ‘No matter what others say about you, as long as you know you’re not doing anything wrong or stepping on anyone, you’re doing great.’ And if I read or hear anything negative about me, that’s okay with me. I would rather choose to help others than pay attention to those things,” she stated.
Despite the pressures of her revitalized career, Rhed remains unfazed. When it comes to dealing with pressure, she emphasized the importance of having a strong support system.
“I guess what I can really say is the support and love from my family, my siblings, and my friends because they are the ones who strengthen my confidence that I can do all of these,” the actress said.
