Korean idol j-hope of K-pop sensation BTS has officially joined TikTok, amassing millions of views and followers within hours of launching his account.
The K-pop star debuted on the platform Friday, Jan. 24, under the username @iamurhope. In his first post, j-hope greeted fans with a simple message.
“Hi TikTok,” he captioned.
The video also sparked curiosity among fans as it also featured the numbers “03 07” displayed on a phone, hinting at a potential upcoming project.
Since its release, the video has garnered an impressive 25.1 million views, while j-hope’s number of followers has surged to 4.5 million.
j-hope is currently preparing for his solo concert tour, “Hope on the Stage,” which will include a stop in Manila, happening on April 12 and 13 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, marking his first solo performance in the Philippines.
