Just a week after Manila Standard Entertainment outlined the showbiz happenings in 2024, we are already experiencing another showbiz pasabog as early as the first week of January as actress Barbie Forteza confirmed that she had ended her seven-year relationship with boyfriend and actor Jak Roberto.
On Thursday, January 2, Barbie took to Instagram to reflect on the beautiful memories she shared with Jak, thanking him for the love and joy they experienced together.
“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love. Your love was exceptional,” wrote Barbie.
“But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together. Beautiful goodbye, @jakroberto. Thank you for loving me the way you did,” she continued.
The Pulang Araw star then expressed her hopes that Jak may find the love he deserves.
“I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve,” Barbie added.
The actress also appealed to her fans for understanding during this difficult time.
“I hope for everyone’s understanding and I wish you can help us put this matter to rest,” she stated.
