Fresh off from his victory at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival’s (MMFF) “Gabi ng Parangal,” actor Ruru Madrid is overflowing with gratitude—not just for the recognition but for the unwavering support of his girlfriend, Bianca Umali.
During his one-on-one interview with Nelson Canlas, the actor reflected on his journey and the role Bianca has played in his life.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without Bianca. She’s been there for me since the beginning. I can’t explain how much I value her and how important she is to me. She’s the greatest gift I’ve ever received,” said Ruru.
During the awarding ceremony, Ruru called Bianca his “biggest inspiration” and credited her for being a cornerstone of his success.
When asked about the possibility of settling down with Bianca, Ruru didn’t hesitate.
“If it were up to me, I’d do it now. Why wait when you’ve found the one? I know in my heart I won’t find anyone like Bianca,” he revealed.
Ruru took home the award for his role as the prison guard Xavier Gonzaga in the award-winning film film “Green Bones.”
