Star Magic contacts TikTok to recover BINI members’ banned accounts

Star Magic, the agency managing the P-pop group BINI, quickly acted after fans discovered that most of the members’ TikTok accounts had been banned.

In a statement on BINI’s official X account, Star Magic announced, “We have already reached out to TikTok to request their assistance in recovering the banned accounts,” the statement reads. “Additionally, we have been in constant communication with them regarding the verification of BINI’s TikTok profiles.”

Fans, known as Blooms, grew concerned when they noticed that the TikTok accounts of Aiah Arceta, Colet Vergara, Maloi Ricalde, Gwen Apuli, Stacey Sevilleja, Mikha Lim, and Sheena Catacutan were inaccessible. Only Jhoanna Robles’ account remained available on Saturday afternoon, June 15.

Supporters took to X to urge TikTok and BINI’s record label, Star Music Philippines, to resolve the issue.

Maloi Ricalde also expressed her disappointment on her X page, though she did not directly mention the TikTok situation, stating, “Nakikita namin kayo. Tandaan niyo ‘yan,” which translates to “We see you. Remember that.”

BINI debuted in 2021 with their single “Born to Win.” The group recently celebrated its third anniversary with sold-out “BINIverse” concerts. The group, known for songs like “Pantropiko,” “Karera,” and “Salamin, Salamin,” is set to perform in Baguio, Cebu, and General Santos City in July, and in Canada in August.
