Singer-actress Angeline Quinto revealed on Monday, May 6, that she is expecting a baby girl, ending weeks of speculation.
Rumors about her second pregnancy swirled last month after entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz said the singer was expecting her second child.
She took to her social media platform to share the good news creatively through her entry for the Asoka makeup challenge.
The video features Angeline joining the trend, transforming while her hit song “Piliin Mo ang Pilipinas” plays in the background.
“Magpapahuli ba ako?” she wrote in the caption.
The singer started the video barefaced, but with each transition, she applied more makeup. The big reveal came when Quinto, dressed in a traditional Filipino outfit, proudly displayed her baby bump. The video took another heartwarming turn when her husband, Nonrev Daquina, and their son, Sylvio, joined her for a fun gender reveal.
Before the video ended, her entry for the Asoka challenge turned out as her gender reveal announcement. Angeline smashed a clay pot filled with pink confetti, confirming that she was having a baby girl.
The clip continued to show the singer being emotional with the gender reveal and sharing sweet moments with her family. It ended with a phrase stating, “It’s a girl”.
Angeline and Nonrev tied the knot last April 25 at the Quiapo Church, two years after they announced their engagement.
