Actress Lovi Poe is excited about the latest projects that she is about to shoot under Regal Entertainment. The first is Guilty Pleasure and the other one is called The Untamed.

The first one is to be directed by Connie Macatuno while the other is to be helmed by Richard Somes.

In Guilty Pleasure, breathe life into the role of a lawyer. She shares stellar billing with JM De Guzman and Jameson Blake. Meanwhile, The Untamed is an action-drama and requires physical preparation for the intense action scenes.

“Not only that, I also have another new project. It’s something new for me as well. I know that this will be another challenging assignment. So, you see, I’ll be very busy in the coming days doing these exciting materials,” she said.

She has already done three movies in Hollywood. What’s the difference between doing a film locally and abroad?

“Honestly, I exert almost the same effort regardless of filming locally or abroad. Philippine showbiz versus Hollywood isn’t a factor; it’s all about giving the project my love and effort,” Lovi explained.

“For me, work is work. I will give it the same love and effort. Everything’s equal to me. Of course, doing a project in Hollywood is a brand new venture for me. It’s a new phase in my career, a new experience. It’s just something that I am going to enjoy as much as I enjoy filming here in our country,” she carried on.

Meanwhile, the actress is grateful that her husband Monty Blencowe understands the demands of her job.

“He’s very supportive. He is scheduled to fly to the Philippines just to spend time with me. There are just times when I’m the one who goes to America. It’s like I’m based in between since there’s work for me here and I also have work there,” the 34-year-old actress shared.

Interestingly, does she still ask permission from her husband when it comes to accepting film projects?

“No, nothing like that. But we talk about it. He knows my work and trusts my decisions. There’s no need for approval. He respects my job.”

Can she say that she’s already adjusted to her role as a wife and an actress here and in the US?

“I have a supportive husband who pushes me to do what I love and who’s excited for me. It’s a lot of work. It’s hard to switch on and the next switch off. But then, that’s part of the job and I enjoy it so much. So, I’m not complaining. In fact, I wouldn’t have it any other way,” ends Lovi.

In a recent television interview, Cassy Legaspi supported Darren Espanto’s statement that they’re just the best of friends.

“It’s so hard to explain what we have but we’re just really best friends,” she avers.

Prior to this, Darren was interviewed on television as well where he said that he and Cassy are just best friends. He said: “People are so persistent. Cassy and I always say that we’re just best friends. It’s something that a lot of people, I guess, won’t get. I don’t know how to explain it but of course, our love for each other will always be there.”

Of late, Cassy is being romantically linked to her former co-host in Tahanang Pinakamasaya, Michael Sager.
