Actor-comedian Dennis Padilla expressed dismay on social media over the way he was included in the wedding of his daughter, singer Claudia Barretto.
In an Instagram post on April 8, Padilla shared a handwritten message that read, “GRABE KAYO!! NABUDOL NYO AKO! FATHER OF THE BRIDE NAGING VISITOR. GALING NYO!” He later explained in the comments that while he was invited to the wedding, he had no official role and was not sent a formal invitation.
“Wala akong part sa program… Ayaw nila padala invites,” Padilla replied to a follower expressing concern.
Claudia recently tied the knot with businessman Basti Lorenzo. Details of the wedding have largely been kept private, with only a few photos circulating online.
Padilla’s post comes just days after he shared photos of a rare reunion with children Julia, Claudia, and Leon during Leon’s 22nd birthday on April 2. The gathering was seen by fans as a sign of reconciliation.
As of writing, Claudia and other members of the Barretto family have not responded publicly to Padilla’s comments.
