Actress Anne Curtis reaffirmed her support for independent senatorial candidate Bam Aquino during an unplanned meeting at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2, after previously endorsing him on social media.
Curtis, known for her work in television and film, took a photo with Aquino and made a No. 5 hand gesture, signaling her endorsement. She later shared the image on Instagram as part of a photo series, captioning it: “Bumped into someone I’m voting for!”
This was the third time Curtis publicly backed Aquino’s candidacy. She initially responded “Yes!!” to a post on X urging voters to include Aquino in their list of candidates for the May elections. She later retweeted a post from Aquino about his plans to improve opportunities for Filipino families.
Aquino, a former senator, thanked Curtis in a Facebook post, saying, “Masaya akong nakasalubong at nakakwentuhan ka nang saglit sa airport habang papunta sa kanya-kanyang mga flight natin! Your support means a lot to us.”
Curtis joins a list of celebrities endorsing Aquino, including actor Edu Manzano, Dingdong Dantes, rapper and director Pio Balbuena, Bea Binene, Janine Gutierrez, and talent manager Ogie Diaz.
