Ruru Madrid returns as Lolong in Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila, the latest chapter in the action-fantasy series, which premiered on Thursday, March 27.
The new season follows Lolong after he loses his powers and the people closest to him, including Tiya Isabel (Tetchie Agbayani) and Elsie (Shaira Diaz). Struggling with his identity, he leaves his hometown and bids farewell to his crocodile companion, Dakila, in search of a fresh start in Manila.
In the city, Lolong uncovers a shocking truth—his parents are not who he believed them to be. He also learns that he may have fathered children with Elsie. Seven years later, he navigates a new journey alongside unfamiliar faces who will shape his fate.
Joining the cast are Tessie Tomas, Rowell Santiago, Ketchup Eusebio, Matt Lozano, Yasser Marta, Wendell Ramos, Elle Villanueva, Andrea del Rosario, and others.
