Filipino singer Jan Francis, the Karaoke World Championships Philippines (KWC PH) champion, is making waves in the local music scene with the strong streaming performance of his debut singles “You Are The One” and “Come Back To Me” on Spotify.
Released on Jan. 24, “You Are The One” features Thai pop artist Yayee and mixes Filipino and Thai pop influences.
The track, described by fans as an anthem for dreamers, landed on multiple Spotify editorial playlists on release day. It ranked ninth on Fresh Finds Philippines and garnered over 3,000 streams within hours, according to KWC PH management.
Apple Esplana-Manansala, a partner at KWC PH management, said the single has surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams in less than a month. It also reached nearly 100,000 views on YouTube and almost 300,000 views on Facebook.
“What an amazing accomplishment for Jan Francis, Yayee, and the team,” Esplana-Manansala said.
The song’s message of hope and determination resonated with listeners, helping fuel its growing popularity.
Jan Francis released his follow-up single “Come Back To Me” on Feb. 14, showcasing a more emotional side with a ballad about heartbreak and longing. The two singles mark a strong start for the newcomer, reflecting his versatility as a singer-songwriter.
The 2025 KWC PH champion’s debut comes with support from his management team, which continues to push his music on streaming platforms. Jan Francis is also set to join the Fusion Manila music festivalon March 15, 2025.
