Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee has released her debut single, “Reyna,” under a collaboration between ABS-CBN Music and GMA.
The dance-pop track, launched under Star Music, promotes confidence and empowerment, aligning with Women’s Month. Dee, also known as MMD, said the project took nearly a year to complete.
“I can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on,” she said.
Dee is among the GMA artists releasing music under the partnership.
Written by Angelica Tagadtad and produced by Jonathan Manalo and Roque “Rox” Santos, “Reyna” encourages listeners to embrace self-assurance, with the lyrics: “Ako ay isang reyna, reyna, reyna, REYNA! Lakas loob ang aking korona.”
The host-actress was involved in the song’s creative process and hopes it will inspire those facing self-doubt.
