Blockbuster star Kathryn Bernardo will make her debut as a talent show judge in the upcoming seventh season of Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT), joining Freddie “FMG” Garcia, Eugene Domingo, and Donny Pangilinan on the panel.
“This is another first for me, and I want to experience it,” the 28-year-old actress said. “I think it’s a good breaker after doing Hello, Love, Again and before I start a new project.”
Comedian and actress Eugene Domingo said the panel brings a mix of expertise, energy, and fresh perspectives to the long-running reality competition.
“FMG is the authority. I add the fun. Kathryn is the heart. And Donny represents the young generation,” she said.
Donny, who has co-hosted various programs, said being part of PGT had long been a goal.
“Pangarap namin ni Robi (Domingo) to do PGT together. Dati pa as in MYX days. I’m so glad they have put so much trust in me, and right now, I’m just going to try to learn as much as I can,” he said.
FMG, the only returning judge, said he was eager to see new talent emerge.
“It feels so good because it’s been so long. I’m so excited kasi baka ngayon ko makita yung talent na hinahanap ko,” he said.
Pilipinas Got Talent returns in March.
