Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), GMA Network’s multi-awarded public affairs program, celebrated its 20th year as the Philippines’ most-watched TV show in 2024, tallying billions of views across online platforms.
Based on Nielsen TV Audience Measurement data from January to December 2024, KMJS tallied a combined (GMA/GTV/Pinoy Hits) people rating of 14.3 percent in Total Philippines (Urban and Rural combined).
The show also dominated individual program ratings per channel in 2024, recording a people rating of 12.9 percent in GMA alone in Total Philippines.
In Urban Phils., KMJS on GMA singly was consistently the no. 1 program monthly from January to December 2024 and tallied an average people rating of 14.4 percent in 2024 based on individual program ratings per channel. With this, the program emerged as the leading TV program for 2024, with a combined (GMA/GTV/Pinoy Hits) people rating of 16 percent.
“To be rated the most watched Philippine TV program is a huge blessing, especially on our 20th year. I owe this to my excellent staff and to all our viewers and followers. Maraming, maraming salamat po na tayo pa rin ang magka-kuwentuhan tuwing Linggo ng gabi sa nakalipas na dalawang dekada,” said Jassica Soho, who is marking her 40th year in the broadcast industry this year.
To celebrate this remarkable milestone, KMJS will air a special episode reflecting on her remarkable career. In addition, KMJS’ Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie, a thrilling spin-off of the show’s popular Halloween special produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs, will be released this year.
Meanwhile, KMJS’ digital reach extends far beyond television, with its videos from 2024 alone amassing 4.7 billion views across platforms.
KMJS’ investigative reports were also finalists at the 2024 Association for International Broadcasting (AIBs) Awards in London and won the National Award for Best Infotainment at the 2024 Asian Academy Creative Awards.
