Showbiz couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo headline the new romantic comedy Everything About My Wife, hitting theaters on Feb. 26. This film not only reunites the couple on screen but also sees Mercado acting alongside Sam Milby once again.
Directed by Real S. Florido, known for films like 1st Ko Si 3rd and Will You Be My Ex, the movie’s teaser was released on Dec. 30 and gave audiences a glimpse into the lives of characters Dom (Trillo) and Imo (Mercado).
The movie – which blends humor and heartfelt moments that explore the nuances of marriage and fidelity – follows the couple seven years into their marriage, with Dom feeling trapped and seeking an unconventional escape by enlisting the help of the notorious womanizer Miguel (Milby) to seduce his wife.
The plot thickens as Miguel and Imo develop a bond, leading Dom to a profound realization of his error when Miguel falls for Imo. Betrayed, Imo contemplates ending the marriage, but the narrative poses the question: Can love survive such deceit?
