Tech brand Acer Philippines has recently held its #AcerAtingPasko Christmas Party, with a celebration filled with promos, product line launches, raffle prizes, and spectacular performances from their P-pop ambassadors SB19 and G22.
G22’s Alfea, AJ, and Jaz gave their loyal fans, Bullets, energizing performances of their hit songs “Boomerang,” “Musika,” and “Limitless,” which drew thunderous cheers among the crowd. Meanwhile, SB19’s Pablo, Felip, Stell, Justin, and Josh kept their fans, A’TINs, screaming for more with their performances of “Freedom,” “Ligaya,” and “Gento.”
After their exhilarating performance onstage, the P-pop artists came together to give each other thoughtful gifts through an exchange gift, which left big smiles not only on their faces but also on their fans as they entertained the audience with their sweet and funny banter.
Capping off the event was the two group’s heartfelt live performance debut of their song “Acer Ating Pasko,” which was made in collaboration with Acer Philippines and was first released on Nov. 22 .
Speaking of the two popular P-pop groups as their brand ambassadors, Acer Philippines Senior Marketing Manager Princess Laosantos said that the brand has always wanted to help bring more attention to Filipino talents that had potential.
“We have been there for SB19 since 2019. We saw that these guys were really hard-working and they have the talent. They just needed support and resources. We were so lucky that we rode the wave when they began to rise in popularity. We feel the same with G22 because they have the potential and the talent,” said Laosantos.
She added that the brand had also been with YouTube sensation CongTV right before its Team Payaman reached success throughout the pandemic.
“We’re just lucky that we can find talents and brand ambassadors who can become voices of Acer and at the same time, we can be a part of their journey when they peak at the right time with us,” said Laosantos.
She told Manila Standard Life that the brand continues to be on the lookout for more promising talent within the local music scene.
“We always check the pulse of the netizens and we constantly try to look for talents for the Brand Ambassadorship program of Acer. Hopefully, we can announce more brand ambassadors who can resonate with our target audience,” said Laosantos.
With the event serving as the official launch of new product lines of Acer such as Acerpure’s hair drying and styling tools like the Acerpure Beauty HD1 ionic hair dryer and HD2 ionic hair dryer and styler, some products were sold there together with photocards of SB19 and G22 members which were quickly sold out.
“These photocards are just the start but maybe in the future we would explore having designs and colors of the groups in our products,” said Laosantos.
The #AcerAtingPasko Christmas Party was held on Dec. 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
