Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed production of Miss Saigon, the musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, is now playing at Singapore’s Sands Theatre. The production, which opened in August, has been drawing positive reviews and is scheduled to run until Sept. 29.

Presented by Base Entertainment Asia and GWB Entertainment, the musical features a new staging of the iconic love story set during the Vietnam War. Critics have praised the performances, set design, and choreography, calling the production “stunning” and “unforgettable.”

The show’s cast includes Seann Miley Moore as the Engineer, Abigail Adriano as Kim, Nigel Huckle as Chris, Sarah Morrison as Ellen, Laurence Mossman as Thuy, Lewis Francis as John, and Kiara Dario as Gigi. Adriano follows a legacy of actresses, including Lea Salonga and Eva Noblezada, who have portrayed Kim on Broadway and the West End.

The iconic musical was created by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg

Miss Saigon has won over 70 major theatre awards, including two Olivier Awards, three Tony Awards, and four Drama Desk Awards. The musical, from the creators of Les Misérables, has been performed in 32 countries and seen by 38 million people globally.

The production tells the story of Kim, a young Vietnamese woman who falls in love with an American G.I. during the Vietnam War, only to be separated by the fall of Saigon.

Tickets for the limited run are available through Marina Bay Sands. Performances are held from Tuesday to Sunday.
