Vivamax goes German

Streaming platform Vivamax, renowned for its extensive film catalog, is now available in German.

Viva Communications, Inc., the parent company of Vivamax, has licensed a selection of films to Busch Media Group GMBH & Co. KG for distribution across several European territories. The deal covers Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, and Alto Adige.

Busch Media Group is a respected film producer and distributor with a diverse international portfolio, ranging from indie features to acclaimed documentaries.

“We are very happy about this development for Vivamax,” said Vincent del Rosario, President and COO of Viva Communications. “We are very proud that the hard work of the talented artists behind the films of Vivamax are now getting international exposure.”

Among the titles now available are Scorpio Nights 3, starring Christine Bermas and directed by Lawrence Fajardo; Virgin Forest, starring Sid Lucero and Angeli Khang, directed by Brillante Mendoza; and Call Me Alma, starring Jaclyn Jose and Azi Acosta, directed by MacArthur Alejandre.

Other notable films include Tahan, Ganti-Ganti, Salawahan, Suki, Lagaslas, Tag-init, Patikim-tikim, Katas, The Influencer, and Palitan. These films will be shown by Busch Media in their original language with German subtitles.

Launched in January 2021, Vivamax has quickly become the largest and fastest-growing video-on-demand service in the Philippines. With a loyal subscriber base, Vivamax releases a new original title every week and a new series every two weeks, boasting a library of over 2,000 classics from Viva Films and other acquired titles.

Vivamax now has 11 million subscribers in the Philippines and is also available in the Middle East, North America, Japan, and other Asian countries.
