Iconic ‘90s dance group The Streetboys, celebrating its 31st year this year, will once again be seen together at a reunion concert on Nov. 8 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

At A-Team’s recent trade launch in Taguig,  Vhong Navarro  and  Jhong Hilario  joined  Danilo Barrios  and the other members of the group to perform a dance medley before announcing their reunion concert.

“We will all dance together,” said Vhong, showing no signs of exhaustion or fatigue after demonstrating one of the dances they would perform at their reunion dance concert.

“Those in London, like  Spencer  [Reyes] and  Michael  [Sesmundo], will come home. We also have a member in Dubai,  Joseph  [De Leon], who will also come home, and  Sherwin  [Roux] in Canada will also come home, so the Streetboys will be complete for all of you,” he added in Filipino.

The Alcasid Total Entertainment and Artist Management Inc. or ATEAM, the management company of singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid, is the producer of the Streetboys’ reunion dance concert. Alcasid revealed that other iconic performers from the ‘90s will also join the Streetboys on stage.

“They will all fly here, complete… I am so happy that it is happening. All in God’s time. Last year, we know what happened to him, we were planning it even before it (happened). Until he is here again, we pushed through,” he said.

“I was in the dressing room and I heard Jhong and Vhong, and I said I will produce it. They thought I was not serious but then I started talking to Direk  Chito  (Rono), and then we had meetings,  tuloy-tuloy na. Very exciting.  John Prats  is the director,” he added.

A-Team has some 21 projects already lined up for 2024 and 2025. Among the exciting shows to look forward to is  Martin Nievera’s concert in September as well as Alcasid’s concert series and musical.
