Apart from being an acclaimed actress and a doting mother, Jodi Sta. Maria is also a big fan of traveling, often going on trips to various places around the world.
During her recent journey to Antarctica, Sta. Maria shared a few thoughts about her experience on her Instagram account.
The actress posted a photo of two penguins she encountered during her travels and discussed how frequently she encountered those adorable animals throughout her trip.
“Spent 10 days in Antarctica, and I would see penguins in almost every expedition. I observed them, watched them closely, and asked questions about them. Then I realized, our flightless friends have it all figured out,” said Sta. Maria.
She shared lessons she learned from watching animals. She talked about enjoying simple things like snow days and being loyal and supportive like penguins. She said it’s important to show love, make friends, and keep trying even when things are tough, just like penguins do.
She also underscored the beauty of being fair and patient, without holding grudges, and how her trip to Chile made her even more adventurous. Sta. Maria wants to encourage others to learn from the world around them and become better people.
