This 2023, we are looking forward to seeing these artists reign supremely in Philippine Tinsel Town. Here are the ladies and gentlemen—with their perfect attitude and earth-shaking groove—who deserve all our attention, love, and support.

Dolly de Leon—one of the better actresses who came from theater is now making headlines and pop history with her Triangle of Sadness best supporting actress nominations from major international critics and award-giving bodies. Dolly bringing home a  Golden Globe and Oscar statuette is of course not a far-fetched idea.

SB19’s Ken Suson and Stell Ajero—KenTell shippers all over the planet are agog with the reality of Felip Jhon Suson and Stellvester Ajerjo, two of the members of the Southeast Asian Superstar Pop Group SB19. Their chemistry, relevance, and popularity are comparable to that of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano’s of  DonBelle and K Estrada and Alexa Ilacad’s of KDLex. Suson and Ajero are best friends for real and for their battalion of shippers, they are each other’s “I’ll Be With You Forever”.

Alexandra Mae Rosales—she is the first Filipina to win the title of Miss Super Model World Wide. Dusky, statuesque, and with the undeniable X factor, the miss nicknamed Alexa conquers international runways, fashion magazine with editorials and shoots. She is more than willing to share her experience and train the next Philippine representative to what is bound to be an important and prestigious beauty title and contest.

Jeric Gonzales—his best actor wins for his performance in Louie Ignacio’s Broken Blooms in international film festivals, the time has come for Gonzales to earn his lion’s share of leading men roles. What’s more, Gonzales has the acting talent to give life to either an antagonist or protagonist role.

Christine Bernas and Angela Morena—they are two of the comeliest femme fatales from VIVAMAX’s bevy of scintillating beauties. Berna’s performance as Pinay in Law Fajardo’s Scorpio Nights 3 screams an actress born while Moreno’s palpable screen presence and her no-acting-please attack in Friedrick Macapagal Cortez’s Alapaap stole the thunder from the noisier ladies in the cast.

Benz Sangalang, Vince Rillon, and Gold Aceron—let’s hear it from the VIVAMAX’s trio con brio of men who are not only daring in terms of stripping, but are daring in baring their souls and truths to the challenging male personas assigned them. Sangalang sizzles in Sitio Diablo. Rillon roars in Resbak which gave him an international acting award. Aceron is ace in acting and some of his finest works are in Metamorphosis, Scorpio Nights 3, and May-December-January.

Therese Malvar and Barbara Miguel—they are the millennial versions of Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos and every time they appear on screen, they bring the gravitas, nuance, texture, and all the feels of the colorful, powerful feminine characters they portray.

Rachel Gabreza—the Tawag ng Tangahalan quarter-finalist fills the Charice Pempengco void with her vocals that reaches the stratosphere. Her Cinderella story makes you want to embrace and hug her, and her stellar presence on stage makes you want to idolize her more.

Kier King—aside from his obvious looks and impressive vocal range, what sets this King apart from the other male singers is his repertoire of choosing songs performed by female singers – interpreted by him and musically arranged for his vocal gifts. King delivers a wallop and the anthems of Fantasia, Adele, and even Abba. And he gets a different flavor of emotions with his scintillating renditions.

Lily—the Filipino cinematic rock ban offers music that is grand and heart-pounding which always tells a story about life and love. Composed of drummer and chief songwriter Lem Belaro, bassist Aaron Ricafrente, guitarist Nathan Reyes, original guitarist Alden Acosta, and the I-am-too-sexy-for-my-croptop and long-haired vocalist Joshua Bulot, Lily is out to cinema rock our world.

Raven Rigor and Sean Tristan—they are the last two young men standing who can champion the Pinoy BL genre. Their surprise tandem in Beach Bros gives the BL fans more reasons to believe that young love and pink love is forever.
