Statuesque Jomako Kylie Luy has earned the right to represent the country in Miss Teen Universe 2022 to be held in Dubai, UAE on March 7.
Raised in London, UK, the 19-year-old Luy went through a selection process and subsequently was chosen by Charlotte Dianco, national director of Miss Teen Universe Philippines Organization, and Jewel Lobaton, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 1998 and chairman of Miss Teen Universe Philippines Organization.
Luy won the title based on her talent, educational background, height, beauty, and overall presence.
The teen beauty loves to sing and plays the guitar, piano, and violin. She is an incoming Freshman in Fashion Design at ESMOD International Fashion Institute in Paris in September.
Luy can be best remembered for her singing skill when she competed, at just 11 years old, in ABS-CBN’s The Voice Kids Philippines. She is set to launch her single “Hey Mr. Perfect,” an original composition, arranged by Rannie Raymundo and recorded at Vehnee Saturno’s studio.

Mrs. Face of Tourism Philippines 2022 search is on
The search is on for the first Mrs. Face of Tourism Philippines queen, the gracious lady who best exemplifies as the most relatable woman there is, empowered and committed keeper of culture. It aims to provide a platform for modern Filipinas of marital stature to develop themselves to their fullest potential.
Mrs. Face of Tourism Philippines will have a full one-year reign to inspire her community to enhance the positive impact of tourism, provide a new perspective and leadership voice in Philippine tourism. She will be transformed to become an effective ambassador of tourism, particularly, in harnessing the potential of the tourism industry in improving people’s lives.
“We’re new in this pageant for married women, but we promise to be at par with the established ones or even do better. They will serve as our inspiration,” founder Annie Refrea said during the virtual press conference held on Monday.
Aiming to get about 30 or more aspirants, the pre-pageant activities will kick off on September 25, interview and charity gala and fashion show on September 26, and grand coronation on September 27 in conjunction with the celebration of World Tourism Day.
National titles at stake are Mrs. Face of Tourism Philippines-Universe, Mrs. Face of Tourism Philippines-World, Mrs. Face of Tourism Philippines International, Mrs. Face of Culture and Heritage Philippines, Mrs. Face of Eco-Tourism Philippines, and Queen of Elegance Philippines.
International competitions will be held virtually, tentatively in March 2023 with international titles Mrs. Face of Tourism Universe, Mrs. Face of Tourism World, Mrs. Face of Tourism International, Mrs. Face of Tourism Global, Mrs. Face of Culture and Heritage, and Mrs. Face of Eco-Tourism World. Subsidiary titles are Queen of Elegance Universe, Queen of Elegance World and Queen of Elegance International.
