Energizer, a global leader in portable batteries and lights, recently awarded the grand prize to Mark Diosdado De Guzman for winning in the Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice movie promo.
Diosdado won a trip for two to Warner Bros. Movie World Theme park in Australia. The awarding of the prizes was held at the Energizer Philippines office in Pasig City.
De Guzman, a technical support representative, won via an electronic raffle. His prizes included airfare, hotel accommodations, pocket money and two passes to the popular movie theme park.
According to MJ Tiquia, brand activation manager, this activity was the company’s way to announce to the public that the improved Energizer Max AA batteries is now 35 percent longer lasting. It is also the brand’s way to share ‘‘positivenergy’’ with its loyal consumers by treating them to a blockbuster movie experience.
“We know how supportive Filipinos are of these DC comics’ heroes and how excited they are for the movie. The Batman vs. Superman movie promotes positive energy that is Energizer’s brand campaign.” she added.
Aside from the grand prize, Energizer also gave away Batman vs. Superman figurines as minor prizes.
Tiquia concluded, “I believe that the success of this promo is proof of our consumers’ trust for Energizer in as much as they were excited by the movie,” she concluded
