Recognizing Tarlac’s strategic significance within Central Luzon’s burgeoning economy, Aboitiz InfraCapital has unveiled an economic estate in Tarlac City, its fourth in the country.

Spanning 200 hectares of prime industrial land in its initial phase, the TARI Estate will serve as a catalyst for economic expansion and job creation, with up to 60,000 jobs projected to be generated.

“Our economic estates in Batangas and Cebu are thriving hubs, encompassing over 1,600 hectares of development. They house nearly 250 leaders in industry, generating over P155 billion in investments and employing over 100,000 Filipinos. TARI Estate will build upon this incredible legacy,” said Rafael Fernandez de Mesa, head of Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates.

The company plans to invest P7 billion for the Tarlac development.

Economic catalyst

Aboitiz InfraCapital, with three decades of experience as the leading industrial developer in the Philippines, is aware of Central Luzon’s strategic location and robust economic growth, which makes it an attractive destination for investment.

According to Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual, TARI Estate represents a “beacon of hope” for Tarlac’s economic progress.

“By attracting investments and fostering entrepreneurship, it will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and development.” Pascual said.

The TARI Estate will offer world-class facilities and amenities provided by Aboitiz Group affiliates, including power, water, construction, financing, smart city technology and government support to create a vibrant ecosystem for businesses.

“The development of TARI Estate, along with the mission of attracting foreign investments to locate within the estate, will create employment for Tarlac City and nearby municipalities,” said Pascual.

“With the multiplier effect of this project, we’re confident that we can maximize the private sector investments to ensure the creation of livelihood and opportunities for the communities within the area,” he said.

Aboitiz InfraCapital focuses on industry-anchored development, driving job creation, economic growth and social progress.

By integrating diverse asset classes such as retail, office spaces, residential areas, dormitories, warehouses and hospitality, TARI Estate aims to differentiate itself from conventional industrial parks and foster a dynamic lifestyle hub that enriches the overall experience for its community.

It hopes to attract locators from diverse domestic enterprises locators, such as export-oriented companies, and electronics, apart from manufacturing,

“As we embark on this journey, we are committed to creating more than just an industrial park; we envision a vibrant, interconnected community that fosters innovation and collaboration,” said de Mesa.

Regional progress

By teaming up with LIMA Estate in Batangas, TARI Estate aligns with the Luzon Economic Corridor initiative, aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering economic growth across the region.

This positions Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates as a key player in regional progress, facilitating collaboration between businesses, industries and communities.

“Our expansion into Tarlac underscores our commitment to supporting the government’s vision. We see ourselves as partners, providing world-class facilities to help investors capitalize on the Philippines’ advantages,” said Mesa.

Tarlac City mayor Cristina Angeles welcomed Aboitiz Group’s investment in the province.

“Our initiatives aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business and stimulating economic growth have borne fruit. We are glad that Aboitiz is one of our most valued partners in the realization of our development goals,” Angeles said.
