In the spirit of Christmas, Alsons Power Group’s Sarangani Energy Corporation (SEC) and Siguil Hydro Power Corporation (SHPC) brought joy and hope to 438 young learners in Alabel, Sarangani Province.
The students received educational kits from the power generation companies, a gesture that underscores the organizations’ commitment to supporting local communities and education.
The students, primarily Grade 1 learners, came from various schools in Sarangani Province, namely Datu Abdullag Tondog Elementary School (89 learners), Ladol Elementary School (96 learners), Tokawal Elementary School (69 learners); Datu Mamundas Mamalumpong Integrated School (34 learners), and Francisco T. Laiz, Sr. Central Elementary School (40 learners).
Each child received learning kits, including a school bag, pencils, paper, crayons, and various other essential school supplies.
The initiative goes beyond the act of gifting, Alsons Power said, noting that it symbolizes the company’s dedication to powering the future of Sarangani Province with care.
