BI intercepts, deports Somali national

Immigration officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport intercepted a Somali national who attempted to go to the United Kingdom by posing as a Swedish citizen and used Manila as a transit point.

“‹The foreign impostor, Abdinajah Mohamoud Aden arrived at the Naia Terminal 2 a Philippine Airlines flight from Dubai, as a transit passenger. He was supposed to board his connecting flight to London, when he was accosted by members of the BI travel control and enforcement unit.

“‹The passenger was later booked on the first available flight to his port of origin, according to BI Commissioner Jaime Morente.
