AUTHORITIES arrested 85 suspected drug users and peddlers in an Oplan Tokhang and Galugad operation in Barangay Culiat, Quezon City Friday at around 10 a.m.
Sr. Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, Quezon City Police District chief, said a suspected member of the dreaded Abu Sayyaf Gang, one Juraid Sahibbun, was also nabbed during the raid. A suspected drug lord in the drug watch list, Hadji Abraham, was also nabbed.
Operatives of the QCPD Station 3, led by Supt. Danilo Mendoza, raided the Salam compound and rounded up over 80 drug suspects. They were accompanied by barangay officials and the president of the Barangay Culiat Muslim Peace and Order, SPO2 Hassan Adi.
