The west zone of Maynilad Water Services Inc. on Monday announced the extension of water interruptions in some barangays in the cities of Manila, Makati, Paranaque, and Pasay due to pipe realignment in Sampaloc, Manila.
The interruption was prolonged until Nov. 2 at 2 p.m.
Maynilad earlier announced its water interruption from Oct. 29 to Nov.1 in parts of Las Piñas, Makati, Manila, Parañaque, Pasay, and Cavite due to the flood control project of the Department of Public Works and Highways.
The project caused water service interruptions ranging from 25 hours to 85 hours.
According to Maynilad, several physical works of cross-under pipe were already been completed on Sobriedad yesterday at 3 p.m.
It said water services would be restored in several parts of the affected areas.
