The Supreme Court’s Office of the Bar Confidant on Thursday said the results of the 2019 Bar Examinations will be uploaded at the Court’s website next Wednesday, April 29, instead of the usual announcement at the Court’s premises, due to the prevailing Enhanced Community Quarantine arising from coronavirus disease pandemic.
Rosita Nacional, SC deputy clerk of court and Bar Confidant, said the results of the Bar exams held last year will be posted online at SC website after the Court’s En Banc session.
According to OBC, they would not allow visitors to enter the SC premises due to the lockdown imposed by the government to control the spread of COVID-19.
“In light of the government’s call for social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, everyone is advised to stay in their respective homes and check the results online. No visitor shall be allowed to enter the Supreme Court compound on said date and the list of bar passers will not be displayed in the premises,” Nacional said in a statement.
The message of 2019 Bar Examinations Committee chairperson Senior Associate Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe will also be uploaded to the SC website, instead of its usual delivery at SC premises where Bar examinees usually gathered to check if they successfully hurdled the country’s most grueling state examination.
