The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced on Friday it has started accepting applicants for the Aeronautical Information Service Comprehensive Course (AISCC).
This course offers a valuable opportunity for dedicated individuals to contribute to a safe and secure national airspace by ensuring the provision of high-quality and reliable aeronautical data.
Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) personnel are responsible for collecting, processing, and distributing data and information used by air navigation and flight operations personnel.
CAAP information officer Bea Bernardo said interested applicants can view the necessary qualifications and requirements on the agency’s official social media accounts.
Completed application forms may be submitted in person or via mail/courier to the designated centers in Manila, Mactan, or Davao on or before 5 p.m., June 20, 2025.
The nationwide examination for qualified applicants will be held on July 19, 2025, followed by an interview and medical examination at a later date.
CAAP Director General Capt. Manuel Antonio Tamayo emphasized the critical role of AIS in ensuring accurate and timely information for air travel.
“The CAAP urges everyone, especially interested individuals, to contribute to the safety and security of the aviation industry. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and timely dissemination of aeronautical data for safe air navigation,” he said.
