The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) advised Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) household beneficiaries to regularly update their personal information.
4Ps National Program Manager (NPM) Director Gemma Gabuya said: “If they move, they must report because otherwise, they will not receive their grants. If they move to another school or facility, they need to report and update so they can receive grants.”
Gabuya said household beneficiaries are constantly being monitored if they are complying with the conditions of the program such as school attendance of children; going to pre-and post-natal health check-ups for pregnant women; and attending the monthly family development sessions (FDS).
To update their information, Director Gabuya said the DSWD launched the i-Registro, a dynamic social registry (DSR) or online registration tool with self-service registration and data authentication of potential beneficiaries.
The 4Ps national program manager said all household beneficiaries will have access to the online platform.
Last year, the DSWD piloted the i-Registro in the municipalities of Pateros in Metro Manila, Floridablanca in Pampanga, and Cordova in Cebu to update the beneficiary profiles of 4Ps households with pregnant and nursing women and those with children aged 0 to 2 years old. This is in preparation for the implementation of the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) conditional cash grant this 2025.
Launched in 2008 and institutionalized by Republic Act (RA) 11310 in 2019, the 4Ps is the national poverty reduction strategy and human capital investment program that provides conditional cash transfer to poor households for a maximum period of seven years to improve their children’s health, nutrition and education.
