The Imus City government on Friday opened its first diagnostic facility that includes a microbiology section at the Ospital ng Imus in Barangay Malagasang I-G.
Mayor Alex Advincula said the facility was designed to provide “excellent medical services” to local residents through state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that offer laboratory tests at affordable costs.
The newly constructed comprehensive diagnostic facility now offers hematology, clinical chemistry, clinical microscopy, immunology and serology, molecular pathology, and drug screening services.
Along with the inauguration of the diagnostic laboratory, five motorcycle vehicles were blessed for easy transport of specimen samples for laboratory testing from different city health centers.
According to City Health Office chief Dr. Ferdie Mina, people wishing to avail themselves of the comprehensive medical services are advised to register for the PhilHealth Konsulta Package.
