Quezon City is taking Pride March to the next level.

The city government is inviting “Rainbow Graduates” to register for Graduation Rights: March with Pride in QC on June 22.

The said initiative is a special ceremonial graduation that aims to celebrate students’ right to graduate freely and march according to their own presentation.

Graduation Rights is among the special activities lined up in celebration of Quezon City’s 85th anniversary.

The program welcomes registrants who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community, 18 years old and above, a resident of Quezon City or otherwise graduated from a school located in Quezon City, and “want to march based on their gender and desired self-expression.”

“In Quezon City, the rights of everyone regardless of their SOGIE are recognized. In QC, graduation rites are everyone’s rights, regardless of expression!” the city government posted on social media.
