Courses on business analytics concepts and frameworks, strategic planning in open distance learning, principles of graphic design, and introduction to technology for teaching and learning are listed among the 24 free online courses at the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) this 2024.
Interested students can access these learning opportunities through the UPOU Massive Open Distance eLearning platform (MODeL). Those who complete the courses shall receive an e-certificate from the university, which they can put in their resumes as a 16-hour training program.

Meanwhile, Dr. Joanne Serrano, Dean of the UPOU Faculty of Management and Development Studies also welcomed recently new instructors for the open university. Their official orientation took place last Jan. 25.
The new faculty members are Assistant Professors Lorena Jean Saludadez (Graduate Certificate in/Master of ASEAN Studies), Regine Karla Bagalanon (Master of Arts in Nursing), Regine Mendoza-Armiendo (Master of Public Management), Remsce Pasahol and Milben Bragais (Diploma in Land Use Planning).
