In a heartwarming celebration of Mother’s Day, Tingog Party-list led by Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez organized on Tuesday a remarkable gift-giving event to honor and appreciate the invaluable role of mothers in society.
Held in partnership with Barangay Southside Makati and the Philippine Qipao Cultural Charity under the guidance of Congressional Staff member Jessica Medina, the event was aimed at acknowledging and appreciating the dedication and sacrifices of mothers in their daily lives.
The community of Barangay Southside Makati buzzed with anticipation and excitement as the Tingog Party-list prepared to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Tingog Party-list meticulously curated a memorable occasion for 150 deserving beneficiaries, specifically focusing on mothers. As the sponsor of this event, Winny Chang, Qipao founder, led the distribution of gifts to the 150 beneficiaries alongside her two executives for the Chinese and Filipinos, Jewell Gomez and Shirley Go.
This collaborative effort resulted in the successful distribution of 150 sets of gifts. Each gift set consisted of a selection of items, including flowers, vitamins, powdered milk, Chinese delicacies, and a complete set of toiletries.
These practical items will aid their daily routines and as tokens of appreciation that celebrated their individuality, each gift carried the message of recognition and admiration.
And as the event came to an end, the chairman of the Barangay Southside, Makati expressed her gratitude to this significant event organized by the Tingog Party-list. The event served as a heartfelt gesture of thanks from the Tingog Party-list and the Philippine Qipao Cultural Charity to these remarkable women who selflessly provide unwavering love and support to their children.
