COTABATO CITY—The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos will hold a one-day stakeholders’ consultative meeting here on August 18, the NCMF local Soccsksargen regional office announced.
NCMF Region 12 director Datu Mama Sinsuat Jr. said the meeting is designed to generate baseline data and profile for its domain of constituency in South-Central Mindanao.
It is also aimed at generating commitment of support and the sense of ownership of the stakeholders output, based on three main programs of the Commission, namely: socioeconomic, sociocultural and social protection.
Sinsuat said NCMF officials from Manila will be coming to attend the event.
He said a series of similar activities will also be held in NCMF Lanao Region and in NCMF Zamboanga Region, on different dates.
Sinsuat said the consultation will be in preparation for the First Muslim Summit tentatively scheduled in October this year.
