Centenarian is oldest booster shot recipient

A centenarian from Barangay Bolaoit in Pangasinan became the oldest recipient of a COVID-19 booster shot in the town of Malasiqui during the fourth National Vaccination Days held from March 10-12, 2022.

The COVID vaccination team led by the Department of Health-Ilocos Region and members of the Rural Health Unit of Malasiqui visited Claudio Miranda in his home to deliver his booster vax to complete his immunization against the novel coronavirus.

Miranda turned 100 on November 1, 2021.

He encouraged all senior citizens to get vaccinated and be protected against the dreaded COVID-19.
