A dozen suspects have been killed and 51 others apprehended in 880 shooting incidents involving motorcycle-riding attackers across the country, the Philippine National Police said Monday.

Citing their own data starting from Oct. 11, 2017, the PNP said 812 of the incidents were on murder cases, with the remaining 68 in homicide cases involving a total of 927 victims.

Only 291 of these cases were solved and cleared, police said, with 1,008 motorcycle-riding suspects still at large.

The PNP said 358 suspects have been identified among these suspects, with the remaining 650 still unknown.
