Malacañang has released a statement congratulating Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and her husband Atty. Manases Carpio for the birth of their baby boy “Stonefish.”
Stonefish was born at 12:56 noon today.
The message says, “the President is delighted with the arrival of his newest apo (grandson) and that he is glad that both Mayor Inday Sara and Stonefish are healthy and stable."
The Palace adds, “the arrival of the Chief Executive’s newest apo strengthens his resolve to leave the legacy of a Philippines safe and secure from drugs and heinous crimes to future generation of Filipinos.”
Sara was pregnant with triplets but lost the two to miscarriage.

She and Carpio have two other kids – Sharky and Stingray.
