PUBLIC Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon met with Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo on Tuesday and discussed the implementation of priority infrastructure projects in the city, including plans to install sidewalks and bike lanes.
The meeting focused on improving road safety and mobility for pedestrians and cyclists as part of the city’s ongoing urban development initiatives.
Dizon and Robredo were also scheduled to inspect multiple sites under the government’s Oplan Kontra Baha program, including the Bicol River Esplanade, to assess flood control measures and other ongoing public works projects.
The visit came as the DPWH continues repair and rehabilitation efforts on key roads in Camarines Sur ahead of the expected surge of travelers during the Holy Week.
